Regular monthly committee meetings are the first Sunday of each month. Meetings may be adjusted for Holiday weekends. All other committee meetings will be set up by that committee chairman.

Our chapter was able to purchase 100 frozen turkeys for The Turkey Hunters Who Care progam. The money was raised from a gun raffle that was ran last summer. The turkeys were given to Mercy Unlimited and Agape Ministry, last November for Thanksgiving.

We are now running another gun raffle this summer, Rem. 870 Express, and will again use the money to buy 100 frozen turkeys for the food pantrys. See any committee member for your chance to "Help us, Help Others"!

The committee is putting on it's Third Wheelin Sportsmen Event next year. The date will be in May, 2009. This will be a one day fishing roundup for anyone with a disability. If you know of anyone who would like to attend as a participant or as a volunteer, please contact the Wheelin Sportsmen Vol. Coordinator.

Our second Jake's Day is over with plans to have our third event in 2009. See Jake's page.

Our annual committee dinner will be Sept. 13th, 2008 1 pm. @ the Sawmiller residence. All committee members and their families are to bring a covered dish and drinks. Swimming and fishing available for those who want to. There will be a regular meeting and an election of officers.
